Guest Lecture:
Guest Lecture on the topic ‘Perspectives on Data Analytics’ on 30th April 2024. The Resource Person was Dr G. Kumara Raja Singh, Associate Director in Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence Space in Philips, India. 119 students participated.

Industrial Visit to KSIC unit, Silk Weaving Factory, Mysore on 07th June, 2024. 83 students from II B.Com and III B.Com and 5 faculty members were part of this visit.

60 students of II B.Com participated in a workshop – “Portfolio 2024” organised by Pearl Academy, Bangalore.
Seminar Organised:
The Department organised a Seminar on 27th June 2024 on the topic "Digital Marketing" for the final B.COM students. The Resource Person was Ms. Megha Paul-Digital Marketing Associate, Soft Skills Trainer and Operations Manager, Rubixe, Bengaluru. 125 students participated in the event.

127 students of III B.Com attended a seminar – “Entrepreneurship Motivational Story” organised by the Placement Cell on 19th June, 2024. The resource person was Mr. Kashyap Murali, Bio Art and Design, Graphic Designer, Pearl Academy.
Career Counselling:
The department organized career counselling session for all the final year students on 8th December 2023 in association with “Orbit Institutes”. The resource person spoke about the scope and registration process of EA, CPA & CMA courses.

127 students of III B.Com attended a pre-placement training on 15th April, 2024 and 4th May, 2024 organised by the Placement Cell.
