Hebrews 10:25 says, “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the day approaching.” So it is that the chapel is a space where the students and staff congregate to worship and pray for the country, the state, the institution and one another. The chapel on our campus is a space of quiet and prayer that caters to the spiritual needs of the Cottons community.

The academic year begins with the Eucharist service at the beginning of the academic year. The calendar New Year too commences with a Eucharist service with the staff and the students.

Students and staff participate in the chapel service enthusiastically and with great devotion, leading the worship through hymns and choruses. They also share short reflections and present skits during the service. Interactive sessions with the students comprise Bible games, drawing responses from students to video screenings and scripture quizzes that are regularly conducted in the Chapel.

Christian faculties, across departments, share the message at these services. This has proved useful in developing scriptural knowledge and inculcating a sense of social responsibility amongst students. More often than not the messages are concerned with social issues that are immediately relevant to students of the age group that we as an institution cater to. Our primary goal being to mould our students into women of character who will impact society positively, the messages delivered during Chapel services emphasize the importance of empowering ourselves to be the change that society needs to see.
