National Mathematics Day
To commemorate the birth anniversary of the Greatest Mathematician of India, Sri Srinivasa Ramanujan, on 22nd December. The department conducted Intra-Collegiate events like E- Quiz on topic ‘History of Ramanujan’, 75 students participated, Digital Poster in which 12 students participated, Fast Math – 10 students, Quiz on Rubix Cube – 60 students, Sudoku- 12 students, Presentation on topic ‘Application of Math’ around 20 students participated from BCA , B.Sc. and PUC students of various streams on 15th and 16th December 2022. E-certificate were issued to all the winners.




Open Science Day
The department interacted with around 25 students of PUC Science department on 13th December 2022 in Math-Lab . Students were able to know about the latest developments in the field of Mathematics. This helped in creating awareness in the students and improving their career to undertake science as a profession.

Cultural Fest DISHA 2023
The Department conducted an activity- Level Up or Time Up on 5th July 2023. Students of BCWCC and other college students participated in the activity. Total 13 students registered for the activity and played well, and among these three members won prizes. Ms. Shashikala A. Assistant professor, Department of Mathematics Rajarajeswari Engineering College and Ms. Nida Imtiyaz MBBS student of Al-ameen Medical College had participated and judged the event. Trophies and certificates were issued for winners. The activity consists of 4 levels related to fun games. Students eagerly participated and learnt about math as well.
