National Cadet Corps is a National Youth Organization comprised of the Army, Navy and Air wing, engaged in grooming youth ‘The Leaders of Tomorrow’ – into disciplined and patriotic citizens. In 2010, BCWCC started an NCC Army wing unit comes under 1 Karnataka Girls Battalion, Bangalore.
NCC provides an opportunity to develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and sportsmanship among the student cadets. It instils the idea of selfless service among the youth to mould them into better citizens.
The NCC activities include drills, parade, adventure camps, social service projects, and participation in national events and disaster management efforts. It seeks to instill in cadets the values of patriotism, selfless service and discipline, while also promoting physical fitness and leadership skills. Regular Parades are conducted to cadets in college campus.
