National Cadet Corps
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a youth development organization in India that develops discipline, leadership, patriotism, unity, and a spirit of service among students.
The motto emphasizes national unity, discipline, integrity, and a spirit of cooperation among cadets. It inspires young people to respect India's diversity and become responsible, patriotic citizens.

NCC Flag
In 1954 the existing tricolour flag was introduced. The three colours in the flag depict the three services of the Corps, red for the Army, deep blue for the Navy and light blue for the Air Force.
The emblem is encircled by 17 lotus flowers, which represent the 17 Directorates across India. The two dots located at the middle of the upper end of the lotus wreath on the NCC flag represent the two premier Officer Training Academies (OTAs) of the National Cadet Corps in India.
The Three Core Aims of NCC
To develop character, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure, and ideals of selfless service among the youth.
To create a pool of organized, trained, and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life who will serve the nation regardless of which career they choose.
To provide a suitable environment to motivate young people to take up a career in the Armed Forces.
NCC Pledge
We, the cadets of the National Cadet Corps, do solemnly pledge that we shall always uphold the unity of India. We resolve to be disciplined and responsible citizens of our nation. We shall undertake positive community service in the spirit of selflessness and concern for our fellow beings.

NCC Camp Details
Republic Day Camp (RDC)
Conducted in New Delhi to showcase NCC cadets' discipline, cultural talents, drill, and ceremonial participation during Republic Day celebrations.
Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC)
Provides training in drill, physical fitness, weapon training, map reading, leadership, and team-building activities.
Thal Sainik Camp (TSC)
Focuses on land-force-related skills, such as obstacle training, map reading, fieldcraft, and other military-oriented activities, according to the camp syllabus.
National Integration Camp / Special Integration Camp (NIC/SNIC)
Promotes national unity, cultural exchange, mutual respect, and harmony among cadets from different states.
Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB)
It is an important NCC camp initiative that promotes national integration, cultural exchange, unity in diversity, and mutual understanding among cadets from different states and regions of India.
Army Attachment Camp
Gives cadets an opportunity to experience Army training, discipline, daily routines, and military life.
Trekking and Adventure Camps
Encourage courage, endurance, self-confidence, environmental awareness, and a spirit of adventure.
Basic / Advance Mountaineering Course Camp
The Basic and Advance Mountaineering Course Camps provide NCC cadets with specialized training in mountaineering, adventure activities, physical endurance, and mountain safety. These courses aim to develop courage, self-confidence, leadership, discipline, and the ability to face challenging situations.
The Advance Leadership Camp (ALC)
To develop leadership qualities, decision-making skills, discipline, self-confidence, and organizational abilities among selected cadets.
Social Service and Community Development Activities
Include cleanliness drives, tree planting, blood donation awareness, road safety campaigns, disaster management awareness, and community outreach.
Youth Exchange Programme (YEP)
It is an international exchange programme of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), through which selected Indian cadets interact with youth and cadets from friendly foreign countries.
NCC Certificate Exams
NCC 'B' Certificate Exam
Second-year Senior Wing (SW) college cadets- Minimum 75% attendance across the first and second years of training.
- Participation in at least one Annual Training Camp (ATC), National Integration Camp (NIC), or service unit attachment.
NCC 'C' Certificate Exam
Third-year Senior Wing college cadets- Must already hold a 'B' certificate.
- Minimum 75% attendance in the third year.
- Participation in at least two training or national camps.

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) provides cadets with valuable opportunities to develop leadership, discipline, confidence, and skills that are beneficial for future careers. NCC certificate holders may also receive benefits in recruitment, depending on the organization and the applicable recruitment rules.

NCC Training and Activities
Regular NCC parades are conducted every week for the cadets to develop discipline, physical fitness, leadership qualities, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility. The cadets are also provided with opportunities to participate in various NCC camps, training programmes, and adventure activities, which contribute to their overall personality development.
Our NCC unit functions under 1 Karnataka Girls Battalion, Bengaluru A Group, Karnataka and Goa Directorate. Through regular training and participation in various camps, the cadets gain valuable experience, enhance their skills, and develop patriotism, confidence, and a spirit of selfless service to the nation.
