The college has a unit of Young Women’s Christian Association.  The unit in collaboration with YWCA, Bengaluru takes up many community development programmes that promote the welfare of marginalised communities.  The students take part in leadership training workshops and awareness programmes on social issues, reach out to the school kids and women in slums and try to educate them.

Some of the programmes which our students have organized/participated are
- Y Unit Inauguration
- Christmas Programme conducted by YWCA,Bengaluru
- “THE POWER OF A PRAYING WOMAN” which was in YWCA house, Bengaluru.
