Guest lectures conducted
A guest lecture was given by Mrs. Edna Margaret, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, Smt. VHD Central Institute of Home Science, for the first semester BCA students on the topic “ An Introduction to Python and it’s applications”, on 12.9.2019.

Inter class competions
Intra Collegiate competitions were conducted for BCA and BSc students to encourage and bring out their talents, and the events conducted were Power point, Coding Challenge, Short film, Technical quiz and Poster making. During Disha 2019 an intercollegiate competition was held on “ Poster making”, by the Department of Computer Science.
Certificate Course conducted
A certificate course on “Python” was conducted for the final year BCA students. The BCA students have also done Free MOOC Online Certificate courses on Artificial Intelligence, Software Testig, Privacy and Security in Social Media, Google Cloud Computing and Social Networks.
Student Achievements
Meher Ayesha of III BCA presented a paper on “Color Segmentation to Aid Colorblindness”, during the National Level Conference conducted at Bishop Cotton Academy of Professional Management, Yelahanka on 13.3.2020. The ISBN number for the paper presented is ISBN:978-93-5406-186-8. She also presented a project during the intercollegiate IT fest conducted at Seshadripuram Degree College.
The students of final year BCA participated in intercollegiate fests and won prizes in Web Designing, Movie Making, Rags to Riches. They also won the third place in short film making during the intercollegiate fest at St. Joseph’s College of Commerce.
The BCA students also did powerpoint presentations on E-Governance, Web Mining, Big Data, Web Mining, 5G Technology, Block Chain, Mind Reading System and other recent technologies in Information Technology.
