Virtual Guest Lectures organized:
A virtual guest lecture for II year B.A students of Economics was organized on 24th September, 2020 from 12.15pm to 1.15pm on the topic ‘Role of the Government in different forms of economic systems - Capitalist, Socialist and Mixed Economy’. The Resource Person was Professor B.G. Jyothi, Former Head, Department of Economics, BCWCC. 27 students attended. It was organized on Microsoft Teams platform.

A virtual guest lecture for B.A students of Economics was organized on 26th November, 2020 from 12.15pm to 1.15pm on the topic ‘Personal Effectiveness’. The Resource Person was Professor Dr. Subhashini Muthukrishnan, Former Professor and Head, Department of Economics, St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Bangalore, Chief Executive Officer, BM School (ICSE), Bangalore. 67 students attended. It was organized on Microsoft Teams platform.






Webinar organized:
A Webinar was organized on 12th July, 2021 from 3.00pm to 4.00pm on the topic ‘Sustainable Development Goals’. The Resource Person was Dr. Leena Nair, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Economics, Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous, Hosur Road, Bengaluru. It was organized on Microsoft Teams platform. 55 students attended.





Webinar conducted:
The faculty of the Department conducted a webinar for B.A. Economics students of BCWCC on the topic ‘Indian Economy and COVID-19 on 13th June, 2020 from11.00am to 12.00pm. The mode of the webinar was Zoom. The number of participants were 24.
