2. GUEST LECTURES HELD:
• A guest lecture was held on 9th December 2019 on the topic ‘Research Methods’ by Prof. Babu V from St. Joseph College for 3rd semester students.
• A guest lecture on the topic “Investment in Human Capital Management” by Prof. Lucas from Mount Carmel College, held on 25th November 2019 for 1st Semester students
• A guest lecture on the topic “Modern trends in International Business” by Dr. Priya from Jyothi Nivas College on 7th October 2019 for 1st Semester students
• A guest lecture on the topic “The impact of GST and Demonetization on the Economy” by Prof. M.M.Guptha on 27th September 2019 for 1st and 3rd Semester students.
3. SEMINARS AND CONFERENCE ATTENDED BY FACULTY:

• Participated in National Level Conference on “ Revolution in commerce, management and technology ” as a Chair Person organized by Bishop Cotton Academy of Professional Management on 13th march 2020.
• Participated in the National Conclave – Triad 3.0 organized by the Department of Business Administration, St. Joseph’s Evening College in collaboration with SBI and SBI Officers Association on 7th March 2020.
• Participated in 4th International Conference on “Emerging global trends in Accounting, Finance and Taxation” organized by Department of Commerce, Jain (deemed- to-be university) on 27th February 2020.
4. SEMINARS AND CONFERENCE ATTENDED BY STUDENTS:
• Ms. Meghashree GS of 2nd M.Com participated in the seminar organized by Jyothi Nivas College on “Futuristic India; A new phase on Globalization in India” held on 6th March 2020.
• Ms. S. Jeba Jyothi Jansi Rani participated in a TEDx and conference organized by St. Josephs Boys High School held on 12th January 2020.
• Ms. Chithra C , Ms. Latha KN , Ms. Nidha saher, Ms. Priya, Ms. Rajeshwari B, Ms. Sahana, Ms. Sumaiya Firdose, Ms. Sanjana singh, Ms. Thejaswini S and Ms. Vidhya C participated in the Seminar organized by Jyothi Nivas College on “ Talent Connect 2020” Conclave” held on 20th November 2019.
• Ms. Latha KN, Ms. Megha HS, Ms. Nidha saher, Ms. KavyaShruthi R, Ms. Niveditha R Mathapati and Ms. Pavithra M participated in “Ms. Entreprenure” a seminar organized by FKCCI on 19th October 2019.
• Ms. Anumnaa Aafreen, Ms.Chitra C, Ms. KavyaShruthi R, Ms. Nidha saher, Ms. Niveditha R Mathapati, Ms. Padma N, Ms. Sanjana singh, Ms. Thejaswini S and Ms. Vidhya C participated in the Seminar organized by St. Joseph’s College on ‘HR Conclave” held on 25th September 2019.
• Ms. S.Jeba Jyothi Jansi Rani represented Karnataka SCMI Region as an outgoing Executive member in the SCMI General Committee meeting which was held in Shiiilong, Megalaya from 25th September to 27th September 2019.
5. INDUSTRIAL VISITS:
• Visit to Unibic Factory ( Kanakapura Road ) on 18th October 2019 with 1st and 3rd semester students.
• Visit to Dairy Day Ice creams ( Huskur Road ) on 8th November 2019 with 1st and 3rd semester students.
I. Research paper published
• Ms. Ankitha Priyanka, Ms. Jennifer Vincent and Ms. Pavithra V of 2nd M.Com published a paper titled “A study on Face book and its impact on Teenagers in India” under the guidance of Dr. Harshini Esther on Galaxy International Multidisciplinary Research Journal.
• Ms. Kavya Shruthi R , Ms. Niveditha R Mathapati and Ms. Vidhya C of 2nd M.Com published a paper titled on “A study on Commerce students preferring MBA Courses over M.Com Courses in Bangalore” under the guidance of Dr. Harshini Esther on Galaxy International Multidisciplinary Research Journal
• Ms. Megha S, Ms. Sahgeetha HM and Ms. Padma published a paper titled on “A study on Consumer Buying Behavior with Departmental stores in Bangalore” under the guidance of Dr. Harshini Esther on Galaxy International Multidisciplinary Research Journal.
6. FRESHER’S DAY:
• Fresher’s day for 1st year M.com students was conducted and organized by 2ndMcom students on 1st October 2019 and the events conducted included fresher queen, entertainment games and talent round.
7. Fest participated by students
• Ms.Sarah G Nayaka, Ms.Bethestha, Ms.Sanjana, Ms.Hemalatha and Ms. S.Jeba Jyothi Jansi Rani won 3rd place in video making competition which was held by YMCA Bangalore on 16th November 2019.
Sports
• Ms. Meghashree of 2nd M.com participated in Matru Cup Championship for women held by Karnataka state basketball association on 3rd August.
• Ms. Meghashree of 2nd M.com participated in Association Cup held by Karnataka State Basketball Association on 23rd November.
