• Intra-Collegiate Competition – Consortium 2022
The Department of Post Graduate Studies Commerce participated in an Intra-Collegiate Fest Consortium 2022 organized by the Entrepreneurship Cell Intra-Collegiate Competition – Consortium 2022 of on 5TH July 2022 at 11.00am onwards. Final year students of M.com department Faseeha Safwath and Saniya Khanum had participated in one event i.e. Bid and Rob and secured second place.
• Inter Department Cultural Fest – Aura 2022
The Department of Post Graduate Studies Commerce participated in the Inter Department Cultural Fest – Aura 2022 organized by the Department of Post Graduate Studies. From 18-07-2022 to 22-07-2022 at 12.00pm onwards. No of students participated: 20 from M.com Department.
The Department of Post Graduate Studies Commerce organized two events:
1, Product Promotion
2. Digital Poster Making
The Students of M.com also participated and secured prizes in various events:
Iffath Khanum Student of 2nd year M.com participated in Photography event and secured 1st place.
Saniya Khanum Student of 2nd year M.com participated in Digital Poster Making and secured 1st place.
The students of 2nd year M.com – Faseeha Safwath, Iffath Khanum, Saniya Khanum, Sneha Simran, Geethashree S, Madhu Poojari, Bhavana, Bhagyalakshmi, Tasmiya Khanum, Sonia SP and Keziah David participated in the event Fashion Show and secured 3rd place.
The students of 2nd year M.com – Faseeha Safwath, Iffath Khanum and Keziah David participated in Quiz and secured 3rd place.
The students of 1st and 2nd year M.com also participated in various other events such as Treasure Hunt, Product Promotion, Talent Hunt, Quiz, Photography and Murder Mystery.
• Fresher’s day
Fresher’s day for 1st year m.com students was conducted and organized by 2nd year pg students on 18 January 2023 and the events conducted include freshee queen, entertainment games and talent round.
• Workshop on business communication
Workshop on business communication was conducted by Mr. Ravi Ghai and organized by Dr. Narasimhan. K for 1st and 2nd year students on 1 march 2023. • Workshop on SPSS Software
Workshop on SPSS software was conducted by Prof. Preeti Garg and coordinated by Dr. Narasimhan .K and Dr. Malini .K for 1st year students on 15 September 2022 and the events conducted includes Basics of SPSS and Testing Of hypothesis.
• Investiture
Investiture for 1st year and 2nd year pg students on 18 January 2023.
• Farewell
Farewell for 2st year m.com students was conducted and organized by 1st year pg students on 6 September 2022 and also various games and activities were conducted.
• Outreach Programme
An outreach programme was organized on 20 December 2022 by the post graduate department to orphanage and various activities conducted.
• Culture Week
An outreach programme was organized on 22 July 2022 by the post graduate department to orphanage and various activities conducted.
• Trip
A trip was organized on 16 August 2022 by the post graduate department.
• Workshop on “IP Awareness”
Workshop on IP Awareness was conducted by National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission and organized by MS. Porkodi for 2nd year Mcom students on 14 February, 2023.
• Workshop on “Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmer’s Rights Act, 2001”
Workshop on “Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmer’s Rights Act, 2001” was conducted by Prof. Ester Watson, Department of Botany. and organized by MS. Porkodi for 2nd year Mcom students on 27th March, 2023.
• Certificate course
Course on “Skill based Course” was conducted by Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry and was organized by Dr. Narasimhan for 2nd year Mcom students for 2weeks for the academic year 2022-2023.
