Sinchal Kaveramma, Alumni of our College has qualified for the forth coming Asian Games in 400 mts hurdles, which will be held at Bangkok. The Principal, Management, Staff and Students of our college are proud of her and wish her all the best.

Sport-Swimming
Nidhi S of I year B.SC., Aquatic queen of our college.
• As secured 3 rd place in Khelo India, women’s competition held on 17 th November to 22 nd November 2022 at Thiruvanthapuram.
• Bengaluru university selections she secured 07 gold and 01 silver at BEL, she qualified to represent All India Inter- university competition held at Bhubaneshwari, Odisha.
• Senior state championship 01 bronze, 02 silver and 01 gold held from 29 th May to 3 rd June at Bengaluru.
• Khel Mahotsav competition held at Bhubaneshwari, Odisha and secured 04 gold and 01 silver which was held from 8 th June to 12 th June 2023.

Athletics
Aishwarya of I year BCOM, participated in the Bengaluru City University and secured 3 rd place in 10,000 meters and secured 1 st place in 1500 meters, on 29 th & 30 th November 2022, held at Sri Kanteerava Stadium.
• Selected to represent Bengaluru City University, at the South- West zone competition held at Chennai from 9 th to 12 th January 2023.
• Took part in the Cross-country in BCU Inter- collegiate competition and secured 4 th place, held on 21 st January 2023.
• Selected to represent BCU at the All-India Inter-university cross-country race competition held at Reva University on 12 th February 2023.
• Sumathi of II year BA, secured first place in Shot-put and Discuss-throw at the Bangalore City University held on 29 th & 30 th November 2022, at Kanteerava Stadium.

Volley Ball
Gowthami of III year B.COM was qualified to represent BCU at Inter-University Volley Ball tournament held at Rajmudi Kerala, from 25/12/2022 to 01/01/2023.

Taekwondo
Krithika of II year B.Com, took part in the Taekwondo Inter- Collegiate competition organized by BCU and secured 1 st place in 53KG and selected to represent BCU at Inter-University held at Chandigarh.
She secured 3 rd place in the Taekwondo event organised by Karnataka Taekwondo Organisation held on 24 th June 2023 at Bangalore.

Cricket
Pooja of I year B.Com got selected to represent in the Inter- University competition held at Mysore from 30 th January to 2 nd February 2023.
The Annual Athletic Meet was held on 09 th June 2023 at United Mission Degree College grounds.
The Chief Guest for the day was Mr. Thomas Cherian Neeliyara, Ms. Bharathi B.L., & Dr. Shobha Indirakumar.
The Individual Champion was Sumathi of II year BA.
The International Yoga Day was celebrated on June 12, 2023 in the college campus. The Resource person for the day was, Dr. Shobha Indrakumar, Entrepreneur / Wellness Coach.
