Zoology Reports:
The department organized a field visit on 14th Feb 2018 for the B.Sc. students to Regional Sericultural Research Station, Central Silk Board, Kodathi, Bangalore. Dr. Jalaja S. Kumar, Dean and Head, Dr. Saraswati and Dr. Hanumatharayappa explained to the students about Silkworm rearing, Vermicomposting and Cultivation of varieties of Mulberry trees and the students benefitted to a great extent.
The department conducted an inter-collegiate event ‘Play with clay’ during ‘DISHA’ in September 2017. There was an overwhelming participation in the event from various colleges and won prizes too.
The department of Zoology with the Life science departments conducted the ‘National Conference on Redefining Globalisation’ on April 4th 2018.
The department also paid individual attention to the weak students so that they would excel in the exam.
