Entrepreneurship Cell

The Entrepreneur Cell, E-Evolve of our college is a dynamic platform that fosters innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among students. By providing a supportive ecosystem, resources, and mentorship, the cell empowers students to turn their ideas into viable business ventures. Through various initiatives, workshops, and events. The Entrepreneur Cell equips students with the skills, knowledge, and networking opportunities needed to succeed in the startup world. By nurturing entrepreneurial spirit and talent, the cell contributes to the development of future business leaders and innovators who can make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.

E-Evolve, the entrepreneurship cell of Bishop Cotton Women's Christian College, started in collaboration with National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) a n initiative of Wadhwani foundation in the year 2008 for the students from all disciplines with an entrepreneurial mind-set to emerge as Entrepreneurs of tomorrow. The goal of our E-cell is ‘To empower our students to become job-providers rather than Job seekers’. With this goal in mind a lot of activities are conducted by the E-Cell of our college throughout the year such as $ 1 venture, Entrepreneurship Jeopardy, Wealth out of waste, Think out of the box, Business plan etc. A one day inter-collegiate fest “Consortium”, Alumni Meet, Entrepreneurial Talks are conducted to help students to tap their inner skills and abilities to emerge as Entrepreneurs of tomorrow. To generate funds and to inspire students to start their venture, regular stalls are kept in campus and during the break hour’s college venture Fly-buy is managed by the E-cell core members. ‘The best way to create the future is to create it’ and we at Bishop Cotton Women’s Christian College are empowering our students to create their future by becoming Entrepreneurs.
